Orange Love

Hello lovelies, welcome back.  Happy Monday.
On sunday I wore this little number to church.  Yet another inspiring and empowering sermon. So initially I purchased this vest when I was in Atlanta, from a little boutique called She boutique. Whenever I get classic pieces I always striv to make them the look enhancer,  if that makes sense.

Trip to Atlanta

The first night we had a millennium party, which is for all the younger generation.

We stayed at the Westin hotel. Our room it was six of us that stayed toghther. There was a beautiful mirror on the wall perfect for selfies. And you will see I totally took advantage of it.

Thursday night at our hierarchy party.

Hello Cuties,  Welcome back. Happy Monday.  I hope you had a wonderful weekend.
My trip to Atlanta was last week Wednesday thru Saturday and I returned to new York on sunday. The purpose for the trip was for a convention that is held every two years in Atlanta Georgia with the company I work with in finance, to bring back the momentum of why we do what we do. And also for recognition for those that are doing really well.  It was an amazing motivational and inspirational experience.

Flared skirt and strap heels

Hello cuties, welcome back. Happy Monday!

I wore this little number yesterday for church. Service was amazing and I enjoyed ever bit of it.
So most of my Sundays is a struggle when it comes to finding something to wear for church. Lately I have been very nonchalant about what I wear for church, as long as it's appropriate then I just go with it. Because it takes me way too long to get dress and I do not like to be late.
This was a totally unplanned blog post. After my aunt took these pics after church with her smasung galaxy s5, I liked them and I thought blog post of course.

shirt(local boutique), tank(my aunt's), skirt: asos, heels: river island, sunnies and bag: aldo

Asymmetric and Straps

Hello lovelies, welcome back.
I am trying my absolute best to to have a steady consistency of blog post. So in my previous post these sexy strap heels were on my list of summer must haves. I couldn't take my eyes off them, they were a definite closet requirement.
Black and white has always been a sexy and chic color palette, while still remaining business friendly. This asymmetric cut dress and heels alone is a definite night out look so by adding this rocker jacket takes the look to a more daytime friendly vibe.
Btw photos were taken by my aunt on her samsung galaxy S5

Simple silhouettes

Hello again, welcome back.
So if you have been reading my post then you would know that I started a new business in finance.
So this weekend we had another super Saturday at our office. Super Saturday is the first Saturday of each month. We reflect back on our past month and our accomplishments, and what we did to make those accomplishments possible. Each person gets rewarded for their accomplishments for the previous month. We also focus on our teams and how we could help to build each other.

For my look I opt for a more causal look. So I paired jeans with my dress, yes it is a dress and not a top. And added a simple strap heels to remain business friendly.

Happy new years

Hello sugar plums welcome back, happy Monday.

So my mom managed to take these photos for me, after church. I am so happy and pleased with her.

I wore this look to church on Sunday. I have this skirt since a couple days after black Friday and still I haven't  styled it with the exact hue that I imagined. Nevertheless I opted for this sparkly top since that new years is around the corner, I wanted to get in the spirit from early. The jacket I got for an amazing bargain at old navy, a great after Christmas steal. It's white hue adds just the right amount of glow to the look.

Radio City Rockettes

Hey sugar plums, welcome back. Happy Thursday! I hope you are having a wonderful week so far.

With Christmas around the corner my friends and I planned to see the Radio City Rockettes. So knowing that I have this amazing warm flannel like dress, styling it couldn't have been a better time. I purchased this dress on black Friday and this is my first time wearing it. The jacket I had originally planned to wear on my birthday in November but never arrived on time. So i'm finally breaking it out. Its texture is really strong and well padded, I almost thought it wasn't from forever21.
Black and red has always been one of my favorite Christmas combo. Since that its Christmas time I also added these sandals to bring in a little sparkle.

Gray Buds

Hello sugar plums, welcome back. Happy Saturday

I had this flared skirt since last spring and have always pictured it styled with a pretty color top. So yes I did wear it but I was never happy with the overall look, so therefore there was no pictures. So I paired it with this pretty coral hue top from h&m and it just totally brings the skirt to life.
What I have noticed with my style is that I have always find ways to incorporate bright hues in my looks. I was never the person to wear an all black or gray attire. I have nothing against any of those looks its just not something that I would gravitate towards. Yes I have worn an all black ensemble before and I will again, just once in a while.
So I added an oversize cardigan to compliment the skirt and to emphasize a more relaxed comfy look. Then finish it off with my platform booties.

Birthday Flavor

Hello Beautiful, Happy Monday. Welcome back.
My birthday was last Friday so i went out to celebrate with my close friends and family. I went to a the New York comedy club. We saw many different comics. Some were funny and some not so much.the show was very long and i really loved that it wasn't rushed. Nevertheless we had an amazing night.
For the look this wasn't suppose to be my look at least not the red.The jacket and top that I ordered wasn't delivered on time so I had no choice but to opt for something already in my closet.
This skirt I have always wanted ever since I saw it on H&M. The flared silhouette gives me an illusion of bigger hips. I paired it with vibrant red to bring a bit more life to the its dark tones.
